Branding
Branding is what makes the customer-facing surfaces yours: your logo on the invoice, your colours in the portal, your identity on the mail.
Four surfaces
Branding applies to the invoice PDF, the customer portal, the dashboard, and outbound email. Each can override the base kit, because what reads well on a screen does not always print.
Logos and colours
You supply logo assets and a set of colour slots. The slots are named by role rather than by appearance, so a single palette works across light and dark surfaces without you maintaining two.
The invoice surface is stricter than the others
The invoice is rendered to PDF, which does not support everything a browser does. Logos for that surface must be PNG or JPEG, and the background is assumed to be white paper regardless of your palette.
A logo designed for a dark portal header will look wrong on an invoice. Supply a separate one.
Organization-wide
There is no per-workspace branding. Changing it in sandbox changes it in live, so preview rather than experiment.
Branding is dashboard-only
The branding endpoints are operator-internal and not in the public API. If you need to manage branding from your own system, email engineering@kontier.eu.
